WHAT PEOPLE SAY
"I’ve been lucky enough to have Simon as a yoga teacher for nearly two years, and I really miss the weeks when I can’t make his lesson. He’s calm, encouraging and supportive, knowing where each student’s edge is. His classes are well thought out, challenging, never boring and always fun - you never fail to leave a session without a smile on your face and a spring in your step. I can’t recommend Simon’s classes highly enough!"
"Simon has a wonderful ability to teach 1-2-1 yoga with real kindness, acknowledging the effort you are putting into your practice at every opportunity, even if to an external observer this might not seem like much effort at all. He has a wide knowledge base to answer any questions you might have and skilfully breaks down the key principles into accessible nuggets, expanding on areas that you might find difficult. The result of this is that anyone of any ability would feel safe and encouraged, but most importantly challenged to improve by Simon's style of teaching. When I recall how inflexible I was and how difficult I found postures that I now find far easier, I am struck at how patient, encouraging and supportive Simon was. He did not collude with my inexperience so that I did not improve, but crucially he never made me feel inadequate or lacking in any way, but rather took the time to discover my potential and bring it to the surface so that I could see what I was capable of. As a result I have found the benefit to be both physcial and psychological to me, and without exaggeration I can say I am a better person for having undertaken the practice of yoga with him"
"I recently went to Simon’s lovely home studio for a private yoga session. Simon is very supportive, non judgemental, reassuring and i felt that i could really trust him as a teacher. We had a really great yoga session and i am keen to book more, to help my yoga practise develop further”
"I have taken Simon's classes since 2010 and enjoy the focus that Simon gives on strength, flexibility, balance and focus. His classes are planned and help you focus on your intention for the hour, giving yourself space and clarity to practise.Simon in his teaching makes time in the class some how to focus on every students needs so that you feel prioritised and know that when your not doing something right Simon will adjust your position so you know that you are learning to do the position correctly and that your not just a number in the room.... also there is always time for a little fun along the way in the class as well as learning!"
"Simon's classes are thoughtfully planned and always have great focus. I have found this weekly practice has benefitted me in many ways, including visible improvement in my running, my posture and my sleep."
"Simon's classes are brilliant. I find that they are a great way to feel revitalised and ready for the week ahead! Simon is a great encouragement helping you focus each week and as a beginner I feel I have really developed with Simon's support. Each class is interesting, challenging and has variety and Simon is great at explaining the different poses as well as what part of the body they are concentrating on so you can really understand the benefits of each position. I come away from each class feeling like I have achieved something and as well as learning we always have fun along the way!"
"I particularly like the pace of Simon's yoga classes. He is an especially supportive leader which creates a very nurturing environment suitable for beginners like me, but also allows for those with more experience to practice at a higher level alongside each other"
"I like the fact that Simon's classes almost feel like a one-to-one class. We are all encouraged to push our bodies as far as we feel capable, and I like the science behind things, i.e. the benefit of particular postures."
"Simon's yoga classes are some of the best ones that I have ever attended. I think that besides Simon's teaching style, the location also contributes in enabling me to relax and focus on the given postures. Personally I do not like yoga studios and gyms, so I was very happy when I discovered yoga360 at West Hampstead Community Centre. This place has a special atmosphere and what could be even better on a lazy Sunday evening than dropping in to a yoga class and closing the week with a little bit of perfection in harmony and peace? The classes are very well organised, equipped and every class is built around a key focus e.g. hip openers, backbends. I very much like the fact that the classes are a little different every week, so that I never get bored of them. Simon gives adjustments where required and also gives different options for a posture, so that everyone can choose the one which suits their body that day. My personal achievement was that finally after a long time, I have found the way back to myself and can feel the energy flow again thanks to Simon's yoga classes"
"Yoga has been one of those things that I have done behind closed doors with an iPhone app after being far too self conscious to join a class for fear of ridiculing myself. However after biting the bullet and joining Simon's classes nothing beats going to an actual class with an actual teacher! I am finding myself looking forward to classes each week which are so focused on different areas and are definitely challenging! What is very encouraging is how Simon is very patient and supportive especially when each individual has a different level to work with. I leave classes feeling completely at peace, sturdy and that I have had a good session. So if you are one of those people that is still thinking about doing it, I cannot recommend Simon's classes enough, so do yourself a favour!"
"Simon's yoga classes have been a fantastic introduction to Yoga, and a great way to relax after work and prepare myself mentally for the week ahead. I had never tried yoga at all before attending, but after a few weeks i'm fully converted, and want to do more and more. At the end of each class I feel physically tired, like I have had a full workout, but also completely relaxed and refreshed mentally "
"I come out of your yoga classes feeling completely revitalised and refreshed - I'ts a great pick-me-up. All the postures are completely explained and I don't ever feel like I am over straining/exerting etc so this improves confidence in the class."
"I particularly like your clear explanations and adjustments of the postures in the class and also making the experience an ever changing one. In addition to the physicality of the classes, they are quite spiritual from the very beginning, bringing in the intention before the class, your insightful opening from which the class flows. I have also never experienced receiving such lovely email follow ups and such practical information. They are very poetic and beautiful in some way too. All this make your work quite unique and very enjoyable."

"Simon has been running his yoga class at QVC London since 2010 and has had a steady regular weekly class. Simon has supported a number of QVC employees throughout the years and the feedback from people who attend the class is great! Would highly recommend Simon as a reliable and knowledgeable teacher that people will connect and build a long term rapport with.''

"Simon ran an iRest Yoga Nidra meditation and relaxation class for our charity for three terms. The sessions provided valuable opportunities for our clients and volunteers to experience deep relaxation in a safe space and to be guided through setting individual intentions and visualisations. Participants reported they felt less anxious and more calm and felt refreshed and revived by the classes."
