"Simon has a wonderful ability to teach 1-2-1 yoga with real kindness, acknowledging the effort you are putting into your practice at every opportunity, even if to an external observer this might not seem like much effort at all. He has a wide knowledge base to answer any questions you might have and skilfully breaks down the key principles into accessible nuggets, expanding on areas that you might find difficult. The result of this is that anyone of any ability would feel safe and encouraged, but most importantly challenged to improve by Simon's style of teaching. When I recall how inflexible I was and how difficult I found postures that I now find far easier, I am struck at how patient, encouraging and supportive Simon was. He did not collude with my inexperience so that I did not improve, but crucially he never made me feel inadequate or lacking in any way, but rather took the time to discover my potential and bring it to the surface so that I could see what I was capable of. As a result I have found the benefit to be both physcial and psychological to me, and without exaggeration I can say I am a better person for having undertaken the practice of yoga with him"

"Simon's yoga classes are some of the best ones that I have ever attended. I think that besides Simon's teaching style, the location also contributes in enabling me to relax and focus on the given postures. Personally I do not like yoga studios and gyms, so I was very happy when I discovered yoga360 at West Hampstead Community Centre. This place has a special atmosphere and what could be even better on a lazy Sunday evening than dropping in to a yoga class and closing the week with a little bit of perfection in harmony and peace? The classes are very well organised, equipped and every class is built around a key focus e.g. hip openers, backbends. I very much like the fact that the classes are a little different every week, so that I never get bored of them. Simon gives adjustments where required and also gives different options for a posture, so that everyone can choose the one which suits their body that day. My personal achievement was that finally after a long time, I have found the way back to myself and can feel the energy flow again thanks to Simon's yoga classes"

"Yoga has been one of those things that I have done behind closed doors with an iPhone app after being far too self conscious to join a class for fear of ridiculing myself. However after biting the bullet and joining Simon's classes nothing beats going to an actual class with an actual teacher! I am finding myself looking forward to classes each week which are so focused on different areas and are definitely challenging! What is very encouraging is how Simon is very patient and supportive especially when each individual has a different level to work with. I leave classes feeling completely at peace, sturdy and that I have had a good session. So if you are one of those people that is still thinking about doing it, I cannot recommend Simon's classes enough, so do yourself a favour!"
